Landlord’s are legally obligated to provide safe properties to tenants during their tenancy. This includes making sure all wiring, fuse boxes, sockets and switches are not dangerous. Regular inspections of the property to identify any potential hazards with the property’s electrics is highly recommended.

We specialise in providing electrical safety certificates, electrical inspections, testing and electrical repairs for landlords, home owners and home buyers. All our electricians are fully qualified and insured to assist you fully. We also provide a quick response and ensure that appointments are available within 24-48 hours.

Dangerous electrics can endanger human life, risk harmful injury and cause serious risk of fire. As such, landlords who do not maintain their properties to a safe standard can face enforcement action such as heavy fines, improvement notices under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and imprisonment.

All of our electrical engineers are fully qualified and experienced working on commercial and rental properties. We can liase with letting agents and work around other trades people. We can check the full electrical installation of any property against the requirements set out in regulation BS 7671 and provide you with an electrical installation condition report reporting any faults with recommendations for remedial work.

The Electrical Certificate report will be generated within 24 hours of completion of testing. A quotation for remedial work to bring the electrics of the property to a safe standard will be provided with the report. At which time all remedial measures have been undertaken and all installations and appliances comply with the BS 7671 wiring regulation standards, we will at this stage issue a satisfactory Landlord Electrical Certificate.
