When you charge your electric vehicle at home, you don’t need to queue or pay to power up your car. Simply plug in whilst your car charges overnight. Home charging units turn off once the charging process is complete and the cost of electric is much cheaper than public charging points. Home charging units are wired in to fuse boards directly, which makes them totally safe. They offer overload protection and they are also weatherproof.

One of the main benefits of getting a home charging point installed is a government grant that is currently being offered to home owners to help reduce the cost of installations. The OLEV EVHS grant provides a 75% contribution towards the cost of an electric vehicle home charging point up to a maximum of £500, leaving just a small contribution from you.
